Biography
2013-2014: As a sophomore, Oshiro played in 22 games in the season… finished the season with 33 made field goals, while shooting 26% from the field… finished with 21 made three pointers, while shooting 27% from beyond the arc… averaged 4.6 points per game… had 40 rebounds, 20 steals and 14 assists in the season… had a season high 10 points against the Menlo College Oaks on January 23, 2014.
2012-2013: As a freshman, Oshiro played in every game… she had the second best free throw percentage at 75% and scored 4.2 points per game… two of Oshiro’s season highs came against Menlo College on February 9, 2013, where she scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
High School: Attended Happy Hill Farm Academy where she would help the Girls Varsity Basketball Team win back-to-back state championships in 2011 and 2012... was awarded 1st Team All-District in 2011 and 2012 and named Defensive Player of the Year in 2012… was named 1st Team All-State in 2012 and holds the HHFA steals record with 13 in one game.
Personal: Oshiro is a Cognitive Science major that wants to attend Law School… lists her favorite movie as the Notebook and her favorite foods as donuts and Rubio’s… her goals athletically are to help set a foundation for the program and exceed expectations… she has plays five sports, including basketball, volleyball, tennis, cross country and track and field… she loves to dance, which was her first love… lists her favorite professional team as the Lakers and her favorite athlete as her dad.
