2015: As a senior, received the UC Merced Bobcat Award.
2014: As a junior, played in 15 of 16 games during the season… finished with 4 goals and 3 assists taking 21 shots, 15 of which were on goal… had a season high 6 points (2 goals and 2 assists) against Bethesda University on September 4, 2014.
2013: As a sophomore, started in 9 of the 10 games she played on the season…as a forward she finished the season with 54 shots, 34 shots on goal, a team high 12 goals and 4 assist... tied her career high of 9 points (4 goals and 1 assist) against Mills College on September 8, 2013… was recognized as a member of the Second Team All-California Pacific Conference for her efforts on the field… received California Pacific Player of the Week honors for the week of September 2-8, 2013.
2012: As a freshman, started all 14 games this season… as a forward she finished the season with 57 shots, 31 shots on goal, a team high 12 goals and 1 assist… scored the first goal in UC Merced Women’s Soccer History on September 2, 2012 at Cal State East Bay… had a career high 9 points (4 goals and 1 assist) against Bethesda University on September 22, 2012… was named California Pacific Conference Athlete of The Week twice, for the weeks of September 17, 2012 and October 1, 2012.
High School: Diaz graduated from Dinuba High School in Dinuba, California… played and started four years of varsity soccer and was a 2-year soccer team captain.
Personal: Currently a Political Science major with a minor in Spanish… plans on attending Law School after graduation… lists her favorite food as Mexican and favorite professional athlete as Cristiano Ronaldo… chose UC Merced because it was a small school and close to home… her team goal for this year is to make it to the California Pacific Conference tournament.
