One of the latest additions to campus, the Aquatics Center officially opened on October 6, 2020 and is home to the UC Merced men's and women's water polo teams. The pool is 25yd by 50m and is suitable for water polo or swimming intercollegiate competition. The seven-foot deep pool is located adjacent to the Recreation Fields and brand new Health & Athletics Center. With lights for night competition, stadium bleachers and locker rooms in close proximity, this facility is a topic of conversation. Currently, the Aquatics Center is also available for lap swim & aquatics programming. The Aquatics Center is easily accessed from the Bellevue Parking Lot.
