2011-2012: As a junior and a leader on this Bobcat team, Barrino averaged 7.9 points per game (9.8 in conference play) and 3 rebounds per game…beyond the stat line, it was Barrino’s enthusiasm and determination to win that allowed him to be so successful this season…he would be recognized as an Honorable Mention for the All-California Pacific Conference team.

High School: Attended Lincoln High School in San Diego, CA…was a four-year varsity basketball athlete…awarded All-Academic team 3 years in a row…led his team as captain for one season…he was awarded Most Improved Player honors.

Personal: Javon plans to join the Air Force after graduating with a double major in Management and Political Science…enjoys home cooked meals and is a fan of the Green Bay Packers…goals for his last season at UC Merced are to win the California Pacific Conference and to average a double-double.
