2015-16: As a senior, Nelson received Cal Pac Honorable Mention... named one of Daktronics NAIA Scholar- Athletes.

2014-15: As a sophomore, played in 6 games and started in 5 of them… averaged 6.8 points per game and 3.7 rebounds a game… also had 10 assists… had a season high 13 points against San Diego Christian on November 14, 2014.

High School: Attended Merced High School in Merced, California.

Previous College: Attended College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California and Modesto Junior College in Modesto, California.

Personal: Nelson is a Psychology Major planning on attending graduate school for Psychology… lists his favorite movie as Friday and favorite food as Asian food… lists his favorite sports team as the Los Angeles Clippers and favorite athlete as Chris Paul. As much as Reggie wanted to leave Merced to pursue his degree, he is glad he came back thanks to the great friends, teammates and faculty he has met at UC Merced.
