2023-24: Earned the start and knocked down a three-pointer the season opener and his UC Merced debut against Stanton University (11/5)…Had eight second half points on 100% (4-4) shooting and grabbed four rebounds against Jessup University (11/21)...Scored a season-high 14 points all in the second half on 100% (6-6) shooting to go along with five rebounds and three blocks against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (12/2)...Was good for four assists at Cal Maritime (12/6)...Had five points, five rebounds, and a block at Menlo College (12/30)...Recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and three blocks at Park University Gilbert (1/13)...Scored five points and hauled in a season-high eight rebounds against Westcliff University (1/18).

Robinson played in the NBA from 1979-1992 and was a second round draft pick out of University of Southern California...Skylar attended Chabot College and MSU Denver prior to transferring to UC Merced...Both his dad and uncle wore #4...Skylar Intends to pursue a career in professional baseball or in sports broadcasting following his basketball career...Favorite food is meatloaf, rice & gravy, and green beans...Favorite teams are the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers, and favorite athletes are Lebron James and Kobe Bryant...Favorite musician is Drake and favorite movie is Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith...Favorite hobby is playing video games (NBA 2K, Madden, UFC, Red Dead Redemption 2)...Is a part of the UC Merced Recreation & Athletics Event Staff...Lists his dad as his biggest influence because he is a prime example of the type of family man he wants to be when he grows up from a father, son, and husband aspect...His dad also taught him how to play basketball and he is really appreciative on how supportive both his parents are...Happiest he has ever been while playing basketball was his freshman year at Chabot College when almost his entire family and extended family came to see him play, specifically his grandmother (85 at the time) who had never got to see him play, and he scored 18 points.
