2016: As a senior, played in in 17 games, starting in 15 of them…finished the season with 1 goal on 6 shots, 3 of which were on goal….named Cal Pac Defensive Player of the Year.
2015: As a junior, played and started in 17 games…finished the season with 1 goal and 1 assist…named to the NSCAA NAIA All-Region team and Defensive Player of the Year...Also named NAIA All-American Honorable Mention... received Cal Pac First Team honors... named the UC Merced Male Intercollegiate Athlete of the Year.
2014: As a sophomore, started in all 18 games… was a vital piece to the defense all season, which led to much of the Bobcats’ success… finished with 8 shots, 2 of which were on goal... received Cal Pac First Team honors.. named Cal Pac Player of the Week in October of the 2014 season.
2013: As a freshmen, he started in each of the 13 games that he played in… finished with 1 goal as a defender with a 33% shot on goal per shot percentage… was a staple on the defensive line for the Bobcats throughout the season.
High School: Attended and played four years of soccer at Amino Leadership Charter High School in Inglewood, California… went undefeated in league all four years… awarded the Best Defensive Player Award… played for multiple club teams including PVSC Exiles Black, FRAM Coastal Quest and PCSC.
Personal: Galvan is a Business Management major… lists his favorite movie as The Warriors and his favorite food as Mexican… lists his favorite professional sports teams as Real Madrid and Chivas de Guadalajara and his favorite athlete as Sergio Ramos… he notes that he is proud to represent UC Merced doing what he loves to do.
