2016: As a senior, played in all 19 games of the season while starting in all 19… finished with team high 9 goals and 5 assists on 84 shots, 35 of which were on goal… named to Cal Pac Second Team.
2015: As a junior, started in 13 games…led the team with 13 goals and 9 assists on 65 shots, 35 of which were on goal…named to the NSCAA NAIA All-Region team... received Cal Pac Second Team honors for the 2015 season... named Cal Pac Player of the Week in October of the 2015 season.
2014: As a sophomore, started in all 18 games this season… led the team with 17 goals and 8 assists on 97 shots, 55 of which were on goal... named Cal Pac Conference Player of the Year... became first UC Merced men's soccer NAIA All-American after being named Honorable Mention... was selected as the UC Merced Male Athlete of the Year... recieved Cal Pac First Team honors... named Cal Pac Conference Offensive Player of the Year... received Cal Pac Player of the Week three times during the 2014 season.
2013: As a freshman, started in all 14 games in the season as a forward… led the team in goals and assists with 9 and 4 respectively, finishing with 22 points on the season… finished with a 50% shot on goal per shot percentage and a 14.5% goal per shot percentage, while taking 62 shots on the season… named UC Merced's Male Athlete of the Year, California Pacific Conference Freshman of the Year and was also named to the All-California Pacific Conference Second Team.
High School: Attended Golden Valley High School in Merced, California... received the First Team All-Central California Conference award, received the First Team All-Area award and received the CCC Offensive Player of the Year award… achieved the Golden Valley High School record of 26 goals in a single season.
Personal: Golbad hopes to play for his favorite team, Arsenal FC in London, or enter medical school post-graduation… lists his favorite movie as Goodfellas, his favorite book as The Inner Game of Tennis and his favorite athlete as Lionel Messi… says winning the Cal Pac Championships is the ultimate goal for upcoming season.
