Samuel Hala'ufia is in his first year as an assistant coach and comes to the sidelines after a four year career on the men's volleyball team. Hala'ufia appeared in 69 matches and totaled 411 kills and 219 blocks. 

The San Mateo native also earned three All-Conference honors, including the NAIA All-Conference team as a sophomore in 2015. Hala'ufia was named Independents All-Conference Second Team as a junior and All-Conference Second Team as a senior.
