High School: Attended Newbury Park High School in Newbury Park, California… played two years of JV volleyball and two years of varsity volleyball… played three years of club volleyball, two years for Shoten Club and one year for Reef.

Personal: Burns is a Bioengineering major… plans on attending nursing school… enjoys playing guitar, singing and hiking.
