Amarpreet Randhawa

No stranger to the NAIA or talent in the Central Valley, Amarpreet Randhawa joins the UC Merced coaching staff in 2020 having recently served as a varsity assistant coach at Pitman High School and the Girls Director of the Stanco Stampede.

Randhawa brings a wide range of experience to the Bobcats having played collegiately at three different levels and coaching all different age groups over the course of the last decade, while helping them get to the collegiate level.

A Turlock, Calif., native, Randhawa started his collegiate playing career at San Joaquin Delta College (2010-12) before transferring to Stanislaus State (2012-13) and finishing at Culver-Stockton College (2014-15).

His coaching career began while attending Stanislaus State as he coached the Turlock High School JV boys and the Dutcher eighth grade boys from 2013-14.

After finishing his playing career and earning a degree in Business Administration, Randhawa got right back to the sidelines and began coaching the Pitman High School girls varsity team in 2015. Pitman ended a four-year postseason drought in 2015 and have been back ever since, most recently winning the league title in the 2019-20 campaign. He has also coached junior high school girls basketball in Turlock and currently serves as the Girls Director of Stanco Stampede which is an AAU program based out of Turlock.
