Jasmine Washington

Jasmine Washington begins her fourth season as an assistant coach for UC Merced in 2025-26.

In 2024-25, Washington was instrumental in the Bobcats winning the California Pacific Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championship. It marked the program’s first championship sweep since the 2015-16 season and the squad earned an automatic berth to the NAIA National Championships.

UC Merced made the conference tournament in Washington’s first season. With Washington on staff, the Bobcats went 31-19 in Cal Pac play across three seasons.

Washington has coached NAIA Third Team All-American and Cal Pac Player of the Year Nicole Lukito, Cal Pac Defensive Player of the Year Damilola Sule, and Cal Pac Sixth Player of the Year Paloma Ramirez.

A native of Turlock, Washington played college basketball at Chabot College (2012-13) and Stanislaus State (2013-16). She started 58 games for Stanislaus State and tallied over 600 points, 250 rebounds, and 35 blocks. Washington was a CCAA honorable mention as a junior and was named Stan State’s Newcomer of the Year in 2013-14.
