Biography
2013-2014: As a sophomore, Polman played in every game this season, starting in 9 of them… finished the season with 95 rebounds (4.1 rebounds per game)… had 21 assists and 16 blocks in the season… had a season high 13 rebounds against the Simpson University Redhawks on January 30, 2014.
2012-2013: Polman was the only player to start every game on the season for the Bobcats…averaged 7 rebounds per game and 6.5 points per game…on December 19, 2012, Polman scored a season high 20 points vs. Holy Names University…would set a personal high with 16 total rebounds, 7 of which were offensive rebounds, against Pacific Union College on January 17, 2013…recognized as an Honorable Mention for the All-California Pacific Conference team.
High School: Attended Independence High School in Bakersfield, California…she played all four years on the Girls Varsity Basketball Team and was the team captain all four years… Polman earned the Fighting Spirit award in 2011, a sportsmanship and dedication award… this co-MVP helped lead her team to back-to-back Valley Championship games in 2011 and 2012 and won the title game in 2012.
Personal: Polman is a Biology major with plans of become a pharmacist in the future… lists her favorite movie as Coach Carter and her favorite food as Vietnamese… her goals as a player are to compete at a high level and to help the team get better every time they step onto the court… lists her favorite professional sports team as the Chicago Bulls and her favorite player as Derrick Rose… in her spare time she enjoys listening to Frank Sinatra and playing basketball.
