Biography
2013: This season Nelson’s best in the 5k came at the California Pacific Championships on November 4, 2013 where she ran for a time of 21:15… best 6k came at the Santa Clara Broncos Invitational on October 19, 2013 where she ran a 25:58.
2012: As a junior, Nelson ran in four out of six meets on the season… she averaged a 5k-finish time of 22:41 with an average pace of 7:19 seconds per mile… her best time on the season was at the Santa Clara Broncos Invitational on October 13, 2012 where she finished her 5k with a time of 21:28, a pace of 7:27 per mile.

High School: Attended Princeton High School in Princeton, California… was a multisport athlete in volleyball, softball and basketball.
Personal: Majoring in Computer Science and Engineering, Nelson plans on attending graduate school for a Masters in Business… she lists her favorite food as Mexican, her favorite sports team as the San Francisco Giants and her favorite athlete as Kerri Walsh Jennings… her goal for the upcoming season is to run under 20 minutes in the 5k.
