Abbie-Leigh Meneses enters her first year as an assistant coach for head coach Hannah Brown and the women’s soccer team.

Prior to joining the coaching staff, Meneses was part of the winningest four-year class in program history and totaled six goals and six assists. From 2014-17, Meneses and the Bobcats went 45-14-13 and appeared in two California Pacific Conference Championship matches.

A 2018 graduate of UC Merced, Meneses was a Biological Sciences major and was very successful in the classroom. Meneses earned Dean’s List Honors for three semesters and Chancellor’s List honors in 2014-15. Meneses was also the Bobcat award winner as a senior and joins men’s and women’s volleyball head coach Ai Prachumsri as current Bobcat coaches to have won the Bobcat award as a student athlete.
