Former Bobcat goalkeeper Bernardo Garcia enters his first season on the men's soccer coaching staff for the 2019 season. Garcia was a four-year letterwinner (2015-18) and ended his career ranked second in program history with 91 saves. 

Garcia currently plays for Academica SC of the National Premier Soccer League. This past year, Academica competed in the US Open Cup and advanced to the NPSL Western Region Semifinal.

Garcia was also recently named the goalkeeper coach for Acadmeica Jrs.
