An alumni of UC Merced, Jeremy Bowen is in his fifth year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and will primarily cover men's & women's basketball, men's & women's cross country, and men's and women's outdoor track in 2024-25. Bowen will also cover UC Merced Recreational Club Sports as well as overseeing the Athletic Training Student Assistants.
Bowen graduated from UC Merced with a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences in 2016. While obtaining his degree, he was an Athletic Training student assistant and completed a student success internship under head Athletic Trainer Kevin Vieira in the spring of 2016.
After graduation, Bowen continued his education at University of Idaho and received his Master's of Science in Athletic Training in the spring of 2019.
Bowen completed four, four month clinicals during his time at University of Idaho. One clinical was at University of Idaho and his remaining three were at Southwestern University, University of Nevada, Reno and UC Merced.
When he is not working, the Lincoln, Calif., native enjoys photography and working on cars.
Bowen currently resides in Madera.
