Joshua Moshier joined UC Merced Athletics as the Game Operations Manager in May of 2024.

Previously, Moshier was the Club Sports Coordinator at Syracuse University and was the primary point of contact and administrative oversight for 45 club sports consisting of over 1700 student-athletes.

A former student-athlete himself, Moshier earned a bachelors degree in Sport Management and graduated cum laude while playing lacrosse for SUNY Cortland.  Moshier also holds a MS in Sport Venue and Event Management from Syracuse University.

During his undergrad and postgrad programs, the New York native was also heavily involved on the event operations staff for Cornell Athletics and held many other internship and volunteer roles including for the New York City Marathon. Additionally, he served as a Sport Programs Intern at University of Denver for a year.
