MERCED, Calif. – University of California, Merced men's volleyball graduate student Toby Miller was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for a program-record third time in his career.
Miller also earned the honor in 2023 and 2025.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
The Bobcats setter led the team with 7.2 assists per set and was top five with 1.32 digs and 0.40 blocks per set. He also added 35 kills and six service aces.
Miller was named to the MPSF All-Academic Team earlier this month.
The Fresno, Calif., native finishes his career ranked second in program history with 2,224 assists, 7.10 assists per set, and 313 sets played. Miller ranks seventh with 428 digs, seventh with 46 service aces, and ninth with 104 total blocks.
He graduated from UC Merced in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in management and business economics and is currently completing UC Merced's Teacher Preparation Program.
