MERCED, Calif. – The University of California, Merced Athletics Department unveiled a new website on Wednesday morning in a partnership with SIDEARM Sports.
"We are excited to partner with SIDEARM to provide our fans with the best online experience possible," Executive Director of Athletics & Recreation David Dunham said. "As we continue to grow our program we seek to partner with industry leaders to enhance our fan and student athlete experience."
Fans will immediately notice the website's friendly navigation and visual appeal, game stories, and what's coming up next on the UC Merced Athletics schedule. The redesign also carries an enhanced roster and schedule page so you can keep up with your favorite UC Merced student athletes and teams unlike ever before. Additionally, the new ucmercedbobcats.com features the automatic detection of screen size that adjusts on all platforms ranging from computer, tables, or smartphone use. Users on any platform will now have a similar experience on the web site.
The enhanced digital experience for Bobcat fans will also include a new mobile app and an updated home for live streaming and live stats later this spring in conjunction with SIDEARM Sports. The fully responsive mobile application soon to be available in the Google Play and Apple App Store will serve as a one-stop shop for everything UC Merced Athletics. The app will integrate with ucmercedbobcats.com to feature the latest news, game-day information, schedules, statistics, photos, videos, and much more.
