MERCED, Calif. - University of California, Merced head men's basketball coach Kevin Pham has resigned from his position after ten seasons, Executive Director of Recreation & Athletics David Dunham announced.

The Bobcats posted a 139-106 overall record and an 87-49 mark in California Pacific Conference play during Pham's tenure. Pham was named the 2024-25 Cal Pac Coach of the Year and the 2023 Asian Coaches Association Men's Coach of the Year.

A national search for UC Merced's next head men's basketball coach will begin immediately.
