MERCED, Calif. – The University of California, Merced water polo programs will host a water polo camp July 8-10 dedicated to helping players improve their overall game with water sessions, video, and classroom/chalk talk.
The three-day, six-session camp will run from 8:00am-12:00pm and 5:00pm-8:00pm at the UC Merced Aquatic Center. The coed camp is open to 13-18 year olds.
Camp registration is $175 and include a camp T-shirt.
"I am excited to present UC Merced with our first ever UC Merced Bobcats Water Polo Camp," head men's and women's water polo coach Johnny Bega said. "Our camp is designed to give all athlete a higher level of learning, fundamentals, and experience with experienced coaches. I am always looking forward to helping athletes reach their goals and play at the highest level."
Bega will run the camp with assistant coaches Alison Mantel and Mike Stachowski.
